WHERE DO I BUY BORAX?
If you live in Australia you can find the BORAX we used at Coles supermarkets for $4.00 in the cleaning section! You can also find it at Bunnings Warehouse and some IGA supermarkets. If you live somewhere where you can't find borax you could TRY contact lens solution which contains boric acid such as ReNu Contact Lens solution. There are lots of Youtube tutorials that make slime without borax so perhaps check them out.
WHERE DO I BUY ELMERS GLUE?
Here in Australia I once found Elmers glue on sale at Woolworths but have not be able to find it at any Woolworths since. Similarly, it say on the Elmers website that it's sold at Officeworks but the 2 stores near me say it's been discontinued. Others have said they found it there so it's worth a try. Others have also said it's sold at Harvey Normans but I haven't been to see for myself. Instead, we have successfully used white Bostiks glue from Officeworks and the clear Stuk brand glue sold at lots of $2 shops. The glue in the glue pens makes the slime smell after a while so we recommend the glue in the bottles as we haven't had a problem with that. Hope this helps with some of your questions.

RUBBERY SLIME TIPS!
What do I do if my normal slime is too rubbery or this slime starts to go dry? We have found that if the slime goes rubbery and wont stretch, TRY playing with it in a bowl of really warm water. The warmth of the water softens the glue and the slime will absorb some of the water making it softer. Sometimes you have to play with it for a while and it might not look like its going to work. we have found that it usually does and we have saved some slime disasters this way. Give it a try.
